So I'm posting this to see if anyone would know why the clutch cable breaks. A member / friend of mine broke his clutch cable on his 03 ultra and put a brand new one and the bike would not come out of gear. He then took the clutch pack off and they were not warped and all within spec from the manual. He then took the primary off and found that they hub that houses the clutch pack wobbled a little. He then took off the hub and spun it on a rod and it did not have the wobble. Re mounted it to the trans shaft and it had a wobble. Now my question is if the trans shaft has a wobble to it could this cause the clutch cable to break. Or is this wobble normal and to just get it to the dealer for them to check it out. Or does anyone one have any other things they can suggest to check for the reason why the cable broke.

When it broke it broke at the handle as well. I don't know if that matters or not.
