    Attention Michigan Motorcyclists!

Senate Bill 104, legislation that would toughen penalties for traffic offenses that result in injury or death to other roadway users, is before the House Transportation Committee.

On Thursday, November 13, the committee will take SB-104 up for consideration.

Here’s your chance to make a difference – see the November 10 Action Alert to learn how your support for this important bill can result in safer roadways for all users.

    Take Action. Now!
    Attention Michigan Motorcyclists!

Your help is needed on Senate Bill 104

As a Michigan Action E-List subscriber, you’ve probably been following SB-104. This legislation, introduced last year by Senator Valde Garcia, proposes greater penalties for those convicted of traffic offenses that injure or kill other roadway users.

With just a few session days left, the House Transportation Committee favorably voted a substituted version of SB-104 out of committee yesterday, December 2. The bill now goes to the full House of Representatives for consideration. SB-104 was passed unanimously in the Senate last year.
